About Prints

Every print reproduction is printed in the studio using a professional fine art printer using 12 colour pigment inks to ensure that the colour reproduction is as close as technically possible to the original work.

We use acid-free fine art paper with a matt finish for each print.

The combination of pigment ink and acid-free paper creates an archival-quality print reproduction which retains its colours for years when cared for properly.

Print Sizes

We create prints in two ISO standard sizes: A4 and A3. These are the measurements of each size in metric and imperial:

A4 210 x 297 mm 8.3 x 11.7 inches
A3 297 x 420 mm 11.7 x 16.5 inches

Caring for Your Fine Art Print

Handling

Handle your print by the edges or wear clean cotton gloves. Oils and moisture from skin can stain or damage the surface over time.

Framing

Use acid-free matting and backing to prevent yellowing and deterioration. UV-protective glass or acrylic will help prevent fading. Avoid letting the glass sit directly against the print surface — use a mat or spacers to maintain a gap.

Display

Hang your print away from direct sunlight, as prolonged UV exposure will cause colours to fade. Avoid placing prints above heat sources, near air conditioning vents, or in rooms with high humidity such as bathrooms and laundry rooms. Ideal conditions are around 18–22°C with 40–60% relative humidity.

Cleaning

Dust the frame and glass gently with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. Do not spray cleaning products directly onto the glass — spray onto the cloth first. Never touch the print surface with cleaning products or water.

Storage

If you need to store your print, keep it flat or rolled (print side facing out, in a tube) in a cool, dry place. Interleave with acid-free tissue paper. Avoid storing in attics, garages, or basements where temperature and humidity fluctuate.
