We are Min Leong Art, an Australian business selling original paintings and prints. This policy explains how we handle your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988.
What we collect
When you buy something from us, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if provided), billing address, and shipping address. We need this to process and deliver your order.
If you sign up to our mailing list, we collect your email address and any other details you provide at sign-up.
We do not collect or store your payment card details. All payment processing is handled by Stripe through WooCommerce Payments. Stripe’s privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
How we use your information
We use your personal information to fulfil and ship your orders, communicate with you about your order, send you marketing emails if you’ve opted in to our mailing list, and improve our website and service.
Cookies and analytics
Our site uses cookies that are essential for the shop to function (e.g. your shopping cart and WooCommerce session cookies).
We use PostHog to understand how visitors use our site. PostHog may collect information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the site. You can learn more at posthog.com/privacy.

We share your information only as needed to operate our business:

Where your data is stored
Our website is hosted on DigitalOcean’s Sydney region. Some of our third-party providers (Stripe, Mailchimp, PostHog) may store data outside Australia, including in the United States. Where this occurs, we rely on those providers’ own privacy and data protection commitments.
How long we keep your information
We keep order records for as long as required for tax, legal, and warranty purposes (generally 5–7 years). Mailing list data is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained according to PostHog’s standard retention settings.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us. If you’re on our mailing list, you can unsubscribe using the link in any of our emails.
