I watched the moon punch through heavy storm clouds one night, surrounded by this wild display of colour – oranges and pinks caught in the cloud formations, remnants of sunset mixing with the darkness. Watercolour was the only choice for this one; I needed that fluid, unpredictable quality to match the way clouds were rolling and breaking apart. The moon itself stayed steady and bright while everything around it churned. It reminded me how small moments of clarity can exist right in the middle of chaos.
